3mm foam underlay is a protective and sound reducing barrier used on floating floor areas. The 3mm offers better sound insualtion and quality than other standard underlays of this type.

This product along witrh the polythene backed underlay is available in 25 square metre rolls.

Generally we don not recommend foam underlays for use with Underfloor Heating.

This 3mm foam underlay is backed with a clear polythene layer. Foam underlay is used under floating floors and helps protect the underside of the board and reduce noise generated by walking over the floor.

The polythene backing acts as a moisture barrier, although Keen-M recommend that flooring is always allowed to aclimatise within the installation room and moisture within the subfloor is between 8%-10% for ideal fitting conditions.

Timbermate EXCEL flooring underlay with superior weight and density reduce noise levels and have one of the lowest SONE ratings (German test for measuring noise generated by flooring) on the market.

This rubber based underlay will protect against moisture with an incorporated Vapourstop barrier, and is suitable fo use with Underfloor Heating systems. This product is availabe in 10 square meter rolls.
